Charmworks chemometric software If you need to control your process better, you may have to control a sampling system, acquire data from a spectrometer or chromatograph, perform chemometrics and communicate with the process control system.

With CharmWorks™ chemometric software you can integrate all these functions into a single application. LabVIEW provides data acquisition and Charm Works adds chemometrics. Charm Works is more than other chemometrics packages - you can analyze large data sets and generate super fast real time applications.

CharmWorks includes

CharmPLS Quantitative multivariate prediction using PLS 2 - model building, real time prediction engine, outlier detection, PRESS model optimization, Mahalanobis distance, residuals, Hotelling's T Squared, Squared Prediction Error, 'quick modeling', tests for distribution and co-linearity.
CharmCLASS Provides the SIMCA algorithm for ULTRA FAST pattern recognition and discriminant analysis, modeling power, real time prediction engine.
CharmPCA Principal component analysis - uses the powerful Nipals algorithm to explore the largest data sets.
CharmPRO A menu driven data pre-processor for scaling, decimating and baseline correcting spectral type data.
Charm SELECT

Provides Kennard and Stone experimental design and random slice methods to select training and test sets.

integrating CharmWorks

Charm Works can be either operated as a complete turnkey data analysis suite or can be incorporated into your own LabVIEW program. Charm Analyst has all the data analysis features of Charm Works but is supplied as a Windows executable. Charm Works and Charm Analyst are now supplied together on a CD-ROM and contain a turnkey system ready to analyze data without recourse to programming, VIs (virtual instruments) for incorporation into your own LabVIEW program, an interactive user manual and test data sets. You can order Charm Works direct from paa for £999 (UK) + VAT where applicable. Charm Analyst, a compiled version ready for use, can be ordered for £499 (UK) + VAT
