Overlord3 is the first choice for a number of laboratories who work on high end, high content screening applications.

The paa automate.it scara robot is used to automate sample loading on to the chosen cellular imager. The sample plate barcode ID is determined using a barcode reader and the after the plate read step has been completed, the data file from the plate reader can be named or renamed to ensure real-time sample data integrity. Load a stack of plates in the evening and return the following morning to a neat stack of read plates and your data files ready for analysis.

We have been working with the GE Healthcare with the IN Cell 1000/3000 instruments for many years with 50+ systems installed in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Our chosen plate transfer device is the automate.it scara robot, however we can offer the complete range of commercially robots including factory robots (Mitsubishi, Staubli, Thermo CRS) and lab robots (Caliper Twister II, Hudson PlateCrane).

The advantages are:

• simple to use user interface
• barcode reader provides complete sample and data audit trail
• easy data transfer to LIMS
• Overlord3 can handle any file format including csv and xml

The Roche Cellavista instrument (was the Innovatis Cellavista) represents a fast and flexible image based platform technology designed to combine the advantages of brightfield imaging and fluorescence capabilities in order to deliver unprecedented results for a broad range of cellular applications in the areas of cell line development, cellular research and drug discovery.

Overlord3 can integrate this plate reader into a simple or more complex integrated system.
